HOME JOSEPHINE AIR BAIE FREGATE BLEUE END

Eastern Martinique brings to mind the New England shore.
The air has the same smell, a full salty earthiness that is missing from the crisper Pacific air.
The vegetation has the same scrubby look to it that is lush and compact.
The New England breeze can have a cold sharpness to it, though, even on a hot summer day. The Martinique wind is like the clouds, soft and billowy. A hurricane on Martinque must be like a battering, smothering mountain of cotton.
