Amos Satterlee is an artist and technologist living and working in New York NY. Satterlee has long been fascinated with geometric systems and the organization of grids. His current work focuses on assemblies within grids generated by simple algorithms.
Plainsaw.org presents his current research into the mechanics and aesthetics of cellular automata. It is also a repository of Satterlee's personal presence on the web since the mid-1990s.
