I find that reading books on my little handheld pc is much more satisfying than reading them on paper. I am such a tactile person that the physicalness of paper impinges on the imagining. The story sometimes gets lost in the canyon at the spine of the book. I much prefer to stop when my concentration flags. The constant scrolling of text blurs the physical end and beginning of chapters and in a small way lets me determine the structure of the story.
Liz finds the end of a chapter to be a goal to reach.
